Craig needs to get a secret off his chest, so he pays a visit to the Keeper of Secrets in the Creek.
Tropes:
- Author Avatar: The Secret Kid is the Creeksona of Character Designer Benjamin Anders.
- Blackmail: Eliza finds one of the bottled secrets, and threatens to read it publicly unless people bid to make sure their secrets aren't exposed. Everyone ends up refusing to bid and most give away their secrets anyway, so Eliza reads it aloud. Secret Kid claims he wrote it, and implies if she tries something like this again, he'll let everyone know she's wearing a wig.
- Brats with Slingshots: Craig finds a stick for making a slingshot, which he says is a perfect weapon to knock things out of trees and annoy older brothers.
- The Confidant: Essentially the Secret Kid's role for the Creek. They get a safe space to vent things they can't tell anyone else, and he gets the satisfaction of knowing everything about everyone.
- Dark Secret: Everyone in the Creek has some secret they kept in a bottle. Though they tend to be pretty mundane, everyone still takes them very seriously.
- Everyone Knew Already: When Bobby confesses that his secret is that he kisses his candy, everyone shouts "We know!"
- Message in a Bottle: Secret Kid writes down the secrets of others and keeps them in soda bottles so they'll be secure. A storm washes away all the bottles, forcing Craig and friends to collect them all before the secrets are read. Unfortunately, Eliza finds one they missed.
- Painting the Medium: J.P. gets the others to hum together in an attempt to shatter things, which ends up shattering the view as a transfer into the credits.
- Scary Teeth: Eliza's teeth turn sharp whenever she's threatening people with the secret she found.
- Shout-Out: Elder Mark confesses that he didn't understand the ending to Sad Boy Pilotgeddon.
- Shown Their Work: While covering up for Marie, the Secret Kid mentions horses walk on their toenails. This is true for horses as only their hooves touch the ground, and thus they walk on their nails (this is known as unguligrade).
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: Craig, Kelsey and J.P. anxiously try to reassure each other that they have only heard about the kid who keeps secrets, and that they've never been to see him themselves, because they don't keep secrets from their best friends, nosiree!
- Taking the Heat: The bottle Eliza found turns out to be Marie's admission that she doesn't like horses, which the Secret Kid claims he wrote.
- Withholding Their Name: Secret Kid isn't just going by a nickname, he won't tell anyone his actual name.Craig: Thanks again... uh, sorry I still don't know your name.
Secret Kid: (laughs) I know.
