- Bait-and-Switch Comparison: Kadesha wonders why the little kid is standing with the Stump Trio. After explaining that Jessica is accompanying Craig, she clarified that she was talking about 'the one with the bird on her head (Kelsey).
- Continuity Nod: Kelsey tries to read the book she wrote in "Kelsey the Author" to the daycare kids.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Craig is jealous that Jessica is better at dealing with the daycare kids than he is.
- Mistaken Age: The daycare kids assume Kelsey is their age because she's so short.
