J.P. decides to follow his heart and tries to join the Horse Girls.

- Aborted Declaration of Love: Maney in the start of the ep."I Like Horses"
- Accidental Dance Craze: J.P. came up with his dance when he was shooing a bee.
- Berserker Tears: Maney gets these after Mackenzie admits that she sabotaged the Horse Course so that J.P. fails.
- Bishie Sparkle: J.P. when Maney sees him.
- Crush Filter: Maney sees J.P. as a horse.
- Dance Sensation: "Do the J.P.!"
- Even the Dog Is Ashamed: Or rather, Even the Bird is Horrified; Mortimor is just as shocked as everyone else when J.P. injures himself from jumping over the pole fence.

- Oh, No... Not Again!: When J.P. hurts his leg from attempting to jump over the pole fence.Melissa: His horse leg is broken! (takes out a broom) We have to put him down like in the movies.
Marie: Melissa, no. Not again.
- Shown Their Work: Melissa attempting to "put down" J.P. when he hurts his leg is a reference to real-life euthanizing of horses if they break a leg, since their legs take too long to heal.
- What the Hell, Hero?: After Mackenzie admits that she sabotaged the Horse Course so that J.P would fail Maney gets mad.
