Sector V is put into a "kids zoo" and must unite with the Delightful Children from Down the Lane and get all the other children out of their cages before lunch time to escape being fed to the zoo's cannibal bully.

Now loading tropes:

• Bookends: Early on in this episode, Numbuh 5 says she hates zoos. At the end of the episode — as she watches Mrs. Goodwall being chased by the schoolyard bully — she says she likes zoos.
• Enemy Mine: The DCFDTL and Sector V team up to escape the zoo. Not that it lasts for very long.
• "Eureka!" Moment: While Sector V — minus Numbuh Five — are screaming and the DCFDTL is playing a phonograph, Numbuh Five screams that she can't concentrate with both sources of noise, before realizing that they can use the phonograph as a way to escape.
• Evil Old Folks: Mrs. Goodwall is elderly and evil.
• Foreshadowing: The Delightful Children worry to themselves that 'Father' will be angry if they're late home. Father makes his first appearance just three episodes later.
• Hive Mind: The Delightful Children are treated as a single entity to such a point that their ear tag is only pierced into Alessandra rather than one for each of them.
• Insult Backfire: When Sector V sees the Delightful Children in the cage across from them, Numbuh 4 gives them a roast of them being detained, only for them to remind him he's behind bars too, and Numbuh Four reluctantly admits they're right.
  Numbuh Four: Well, it's about time! Someone should've put you Delightful Children from Down the Lane in a cage years ago!
  DCFDTL: You mean like...yourself?
  Numbuh Four: (meekly) Oh, yeah... I hate it when they do that!
• Laser-Guided Karma: For attempting to feed the Kids Next Door to the school yard bully, Mrs. Goodwall is put in the exhibit with the bully who attempts to eat her at the end of the episode.
• Only Sane Man: Numbuh Five is the only one of Sector V not to give into panic and come up with the plan to escape.
• People Zoo: A children's zoo, with exhibits like the nerd enclosure, the gossip's cage and the ugly children's display.
• Ungrateful Bastard: The Delightful Children sell out Sector V to Mrs. Goodwall immediately after securing their own escape.
