As Chucky’s deathtoll rises; Jake, Lexy and Devon attempt to set a risky trap for the doll. Enemies from Chucky’s past are making their way to Hackensack in an attempt to finish off the Good Guy doll for good.


Tropes in this episode include:

  • Batter Up!: Jake arms himself with a bat to use against Chucky.
  • Bound and Gagged: Tiffany does this to Nica after moving into Chucky's childhood home.
  • Call-Back:
    • Tiffany takes over the "Previously on…" at the beginning of the episode and talks about taking over Jennifer Tilly's body, with clips from Seed of Chucky being shown.
    • Clips of Chucky's severed head from Cult of Chucky are shown.
      • The Chucky doll that is owned by the little girl has a burned hand, which he received in the same movie.
    • When Andy mentions that he and Kyle have "been through worse", clips from Child's Play 2 are shown.
    • Andy mentions his time at military school.
    • Tiffany mentions her and Chucky's impromptu wedding/honeymoon at Niagara Falls in Bride of Chucky.
  • Car Cushion: Bree lands on own her car.
  • Chekhov's Skill: When Kyle asks Andy why he kept Chucky's severed head alive for four years, he explains that he used his training from military school to learn more about their enemy.
  • Destination Defenestration: Chucky rams Bree out of a window with a cart, sending her plunging to her death.

  • Didn't Think This Through: Jake, Devon, and Lexy set traps on the windows and doors, but don't realize that Chucky is small enough to enter through the fireplace.
  • Downer Ending: Junior and Devon's mothers are both killed by Chucky.
  • Facial Horror: Some glass gets stuck on Aunt Bree's face after Chucky pushed her out a window, causing her to fall face-first onto her car's windshield.
  • Forced to Watch: Chucky makes Jake, Devon, and Lexy watch as he kills Kim.
  • Former Teen Rebel: It turns out that Miss Fairchild was a delinquent when she was younger.
  • Frame-Up: Miss Fairchild is framed (most likely by Chucky) for the murders of Principal McVey, Oliver, and Detective Evans’ partner.
  • Harmful to Minors: Andy and Kyle have no problem repeatedly shooting a Chucky doll while a young girl watches. Kyle later worries that they may have traumatized the poor girl for life. But Andy insists they have been through a lot more and still turned out fine.
    • Teenage Junior is in the car when his mother falls on top of it and sees her face crash through the windshield.
  • Heel–Face Door-Slam: Devon's mother dies after she accepts her son's relationship with Jake and that she was wrong about Jake being responsible for the recent murders.
  • Hyde Plays Jekyll: Nica pretends to still be possessed by Chucky after regaining control of her body. Unfortunately, Tiffany sees through the act.
  • Kick the Dog: Just when Bree resolves she would spend what little time she had left with her family, Chucky dashes that by pushing her out the window.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Andy didn't tell Kyle that he had kept the severed head of Chucky from Cult alive for four years.
  • Mistaken for Suicidal: Aunt Bree's death is believed to have been a suicide as she was dying due to stage 4 cancer and chose to cut off treatment. None of them except Jake realize she was killed by Chucky.
  • Mock Surprise Reaction: Chucky's reaction to Bree falling out the window he just knocked her out of.
  • Multiple Gunshot Death: Andy and Kyle kill a Chucky doll via shooting him multiple times.
  • Oh, Crap!: Chucky utters an "Oh, fuck." right before he loses control of Nica.
  • Orphaned Punchline: Devon not only borrows Claude Kersek's monofilament trap from Cape Fear, he borrows his "I'll know if the Holy Ghost is sneakin' in" quip. Unfortunately, it does not sound as cool coming out of a teenager as it does Joe Don Baker, and Lexy's only response is a confused "What?".
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: To Cape Fear, with Devon even watching the movie to learn how to set a trap for Chucky.
  • The Reveal: It's revealed that Andy escaped the mental institution that he was locked up in at the end of Cult of Chucky.
    • Kyle has killed the Chucky head that Andy was keeping locked in his house.
  • Security Cling: Jake and Devon do this when Chucky trips the trap they set.
  • Skewed Priorities: After Tiffany slashes the throat of the man selling her and Chucky the car, he still demands he be paid the thousand dollars even as he falls bleeding to death.
  • Slow-Motion Fall: Bree falls to her death in slow motion.
  • Soft Glass: Chucky rolls a mail cart at Bree, the impact causing her to crash through a window and fall to her death.
  • Spot the Imposter: Nica pretends to still be possessed by Chucky, only for Tiffany to pick up on the character tics she has that Chucky doesn't. It also turns out that Tiffany already knew since she had stabbed Nica in the leg with a knife, which Nica didn't notice due to being paraplegic.
  • Staircase Tumble: Chucky pops out of a vent and grapples with Devon's mom, causing her to break her neck tumbling down the stairs.
