The Immortal Alliance Conference begins, and Luo Binghe and the other participants realize that the threats that await them might be more dangerous than they expected.
- All Love Is Unrequited: It becomes obvious that Qin Wanyue has a crush on Luo Binghe, who's not really paying attention to her affections if he's even aware of them.
- Deadpan Snarker: When Shen Qingqiu bets 5,000 spirit stones on Luo Binghe, Liu Qingge sasses him by asking if he'd even be able to get 1,000 spirit stones if he dug up all of Qing Jing Peak.
- Death by Adaptation: In-Universe; in the original plot of Proud Immortal Demon Way, Qin Wanrong became one of Luo Binghe's wives. In the altered canon, she dies in the Immortal Alliance Conference.
- Eaten Alive: This happens to many disciples via the water monsters. Qin Wanrong ends up being one of the casualties.
- Foreshadowing: The Old Palace Master comments "They look so much alike," as he observes Luo Binghe.
- The Load: Luo Binghe is completely aware that all of the disciples accompanying him are holding him back since they have no experience fighting monsters and have demonstrated to be incapable of surviving in the wilderness on their own.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: When Shen Qingqiu makes a huge bet on Luo Binghe's victory, Yue Qingyuan allows it and says that he'll be responsible for the payment, even telling Shen Qingqiu that he'll take the losses while the winnings would go to the latter.
