Go To

Rocked by a new revelation about her past, Carmen returns to V.I.L.E. Island to uncover the truth.

Tropes

  • All for Nothing: Chase found V.I.L.E. island but he only arrived there one week after V.I.L.E. removed all traces that they were ever there and he ends up being fired from Interpol.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Instead of making Carmen turn on Shadow-san's as initially planned, V.I.L.E.'s reveal that Shadow-san was sent to Argentina to kill her father leads Carmen to turn on A.C.M.E.
  • Big "NO!": Chase has two.
    • First, when his motorboat runs out of fuel and he can't use his smartphone to call for anyone to help him.
    • Later, when the fire he starts destroys his makeshift shelter and the fish he was trying to cook.
  • Faking the Dead: It’s revealed that Carmen’s mother faked her death two weeks before her husband Dexter was killed.
  • Failure Montage: Chase's attempts to survive on what's left of V.I.L.E. Island. He tries to eat a bug, catch a fish, and start a fire, all of which end in disaster.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Shadow-san's eyes are filled with tears when he tells the story of Dexter Wolfe.
  • The Password Is Always "Swordfish": The password to A.C.M.E.'s secret files is based on the name of the Chief's cat, Commander.
  • Shoot Him, He Has a Wallet!: The reason Carmen's father died was because The Chief thought he was pulling out a gun instead of car keys..
  • Wham Episode:
    • This episode reveals more about Carmen's past. Namely, that her father, Dexter Wolfe, was a defector from V.I.L.E. and tried to live a normal life until he was shot and killed by a young Tamara Fraser (the current Chief of A.C.M.E.). Also, as mentioned above, her mother Vera faked her own death about two weeks before Dexter was killed. Carmen vows to find her.
    • Because of what Carmen did to confirm Shadow-san's tale about the current Chief of A.C.M.E. being the person who killed her father, the Chief rehires Chase and tells him to hunt Carmen.

ACME's Passcode Security

For the Chief of ACME, you'd think she would make a very difficult password for secret and classified files, right? Wrong. Instead, she uses the name of her cat "Commander" as a sufficient passcode.

How well does it match the trope?
