Nerris and Harrison pursue a date with destiny atop an active volcano. Which magic kid will save the day and vanquish the dark forces?

- Bait-and-Switch: Nikki falls into the lava and burns alive... and then Max walks up to her and asks them to shut up. It turns out that the party was just pretending to go on a quest, and the "lava" is a kiddie pool full of pudding.

- Continuity Nod: The one-eyed squirrel leading the resistance against Quartermaster is still out there, and it held a grudge.
