While Michael and Sam interrogate the war criminal who made the bomb that was supposed to kill him, Fi and Jesse help a man get revenge on his former business partner who betrayed him.
- Crazy-Prepared: Lucian has a lot of contingencies in place, including a deadly trap in his clock shop and a distress call at a diner.
- Engineered Public Confession: The crew get James to confess to everything in front of his wife, including, most damningly, "Sadie was no catch, you got lucky."
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Lucian has a daughter he doesn't go anywhere near, but he keeps a distant eye on her. Mike and Sam threaten to have her deported unless he stops dicking them around and get talking.
