When Zuri decides to host a beauty pageant at Camp Kikiwaka, Destiny is very excited but Lou wants nothing to do with it. During the pageant, Destiny crosses paths with a girl from the bunny cabin whom she suspects wants to ruin her act. Meanwhile, Matteo invents a robot which grows jealous of Ravi and Finn.
This episode provides examples of:
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Otis the robot ends up becoming one due to Ravi and Finn wanting to hang with Matteo, and goes to great lengths he keeps Matteo all to himself by locking Ravi and Finn in the bathroom.
- Big "NO!": Two of them delivered by Otis the robot when Matteo is turning him off.
- Good All Along: Janice turned out to be genuinely nice and wanted to be Destiny's friend, and wasn't playing mind games with her like Destiny thought.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: When Lou first opens the box of hay, an envelope can be seen taped to the side of the package, which has the needle inside.
- Ironic Echo:
- "You can do it, [name]! Whoo-hoo!" Janice said this to Destiny during her Q&A, which causes her to screw up; Destiny later says the same thing when Janice's talent goes downhill.
- "Dead, like a doll's eyes." Destiny delivers this to Janice when snapping at her and telling her not to ruin her pageant win. Later when Destiny learns Janice quit the pageant and wanted to be her friend and she goes to apologize, Janice says the same line right back to her.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: The reason why Lou couldn't find the needle in the haystack was because it was taped to the side of the package in an envelope the entire time.
