Bluey, Bingo, and Chilli are playing with their friend, a Pomeranian named Pom Pom, pretending to be laundry on a line. However, Pom Pom needs help getting down from the bar, and then has trouble climbing over a ledge, due to her size. She decides she's too small to play and sadly runs off.
While the Heeler sisters play on the seesaw, Bandit sees that Pom Pom is sad and takes Bingo's place on the seesaw, weighing it down. Bluey and Bingo protest this, only for Bandit to claim that the seesaw belongs to him now. Bluey comes up with the idea of "seesawing" Bandit off by outweighing him on her end. Bingo tries joining Bluey on the other end, but the two of them aren't heavy enough, so they get Chloe to help. They're still too light, so they call Chilli over, but she instead feeds Bandit sausages (which the three girls think will make him heavier).
Bluey gets Coco to help, and it starts to work, but Bandit just puts more pressure down. Bluey gets Snickers to help, but Bandit has gotten a pet rock and named it Rodney. It almost works, until Bandit picks up a pebble, allegedly so "Rodney" can have his own pet rock. All seems lost when there aren't any more kids in the playground, but Bluey remembers there's one more kid who can help: Pom Pom. The kids call Pom Pom over, and Pom Pom gets on the seesaw (saying that Pomeranians are a "small but hardy breed"), which succeeds in lifting Bandit up. The kids get off, sending Bandit crashing down, and then tickle him.
That evening, the Heeler girls, Pom Pom, and Judo play a game where they pretend to be flies and spiders. When Judo tells Pom Pom she's too small to be a spider, Bluey defends her, repeating Pom Pom's earlier line about hardiness.

- Batman Gambit: Bandit essentially pulls one in order to make Pom Pom feel better about her small size; he takes over the playground's seesaw and deliberately acts antagonistic towards Bluey and Bingo, which spurs them to try and get him off. The plan depends on Bluey and Bingo recruiting other kids to add enough weight to the seesaw, and eventually asking Pom Pom for help when no other kids are left. It works when Pom Pom joins in and realizes that despite her small stature, she can still make a difference.
- Call-Forward: When talking to Pom Pom's mum, Chilli mentions that next week, she and the kids would be visiting her dad, who recently had heartworm.
- Companion Cube: Bandit, while sitting on one end of the seesaw, makes it harder for the kids to get him off by adopting a pet rock and calling it Rodney. He even gets a pet rock for the pet rock.
- Determinator: Once she's made up her mind, Pom Pom the Pomeranian will not let her small size stop her from getting to the other kids on the see-saw.
- Height Angst: Pom Pom's small size gets in the way of playing games early in the episode, which upsets her.
- Rule of Three: Coco reacts to Bluey's explanation of Bandit taking over the seesaw by saying, "Oh" three times.
- Shout-Out: Chilli and Pom Pom's Mum are heavily implied to be discussing the trailer of Stranger Things' fourth season, where Hopper is shown to be alive and trapped in Russia.
- Stealth Pun: When Bandit sees that little Pom Pom is upset over her size getting in the way of interacting in other games, it's strongly implied he intends to help the pomeranian with her problem. He goes over to his daughters and intentionally disrupts their see-saw game with his heaviness, deliberately setting himself up as their antagonist. In other words, Bandit invoked Hate Sink.
- Unhand Them, Villain!: A heroic example after the kids triumph over Bandit. He demands they get him down, with Bingo smugly saying they will. The kids then jump off and have Bandit fall back down and off the seesaw.
