Recap / Bluey Piggyback

Go To

  • Character Development: Bingo wants a piggyback from Bandit, claiming her legs are so tired. But as the story progresses, her family find more and more reasons to motivate her to keep moving about on her own two legs, though she often regresses into belly-aching how tired her legs are. The turning point of her arc is when she comes to the epiphany that she's more motivated to be active if there's fun involved. Afterwards, she takes her 'exercise' in stride. In the end, she even refuses Bandit's piggyback as part of a game.
  • Irony: Towards the end, during a pretend game of "Gingerbread Man", Bandit offers Bingo a piggyback to help her escape her pursuers. Throughout the episode, Bingo has been belly-aching and begging for her father to give her a piggyback. But on the grounds Bandit is playing the fox who always gobbles up the gingerbread man, she refuses to accept it for once.
  • Pet the Dog: When Bluey and Bingo watch a tiny parade of caterpillers crawl along, they notice a mother pushing her baby in a baby carriage towards their way. They frantically ask the mother to be mindful of the caterpillars. She wasn't obligated to listen to them, but obliges rather willingly.
