Chilli's sister Brandy is coming for a visit, and she's brought presents: a onesie for each of her nieces. Chilli is unsure about this, since Bingo is going through a phase, but she's sure she's outgrown it. Brandy notes that she hasn't seen the girls in four years, while they put their onesies on. Bluey's is too small and Bingo's is too big. Chilli has them swap, despite Bluey wanting the cheetah onesie instead of the zebra onesie.

Then, Bingo starts pretending to be a cheetah, revealing that her phase is acting like whatever animal she's dressed as. Before Brandy can say something to Chilli, Bingo tackles Bandit, as everyone else ducks into the car. Brandy's about to say what she wanted, only for Bingo to bust into the car. When they hide behind the shed, Bluey asks for a cheetah onesie, revealing that zebras used to be her favourite animal but she changed her mind and now cheetahs are. Brandy is about to leave, when Bingo pounces on her.

Chilli and Bluey hide in the bathtub, where Bluey asks why Brandy wanted to leave and why she's been away for so long. Chilli explains that, just like how Bluey wants Bingo's cheetah onesie even though it doesn't fit her, Brandy really wants something that she can't have (and we also see Brandy playing with Bingo, implying what she wants is children).

They both go out to see Brandy on the grass, and then Bingo pounces on them. While Bluey and Bingo play, Brandy finally says what she wanted to say: she's sorry she's been away for so long. Then, Brandy and Chilli distract Bluey and Bingo by doing the dance they did as kids.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Aside Glance: When Bandit reminds Bluey that zebras are good dodgers, she glances at the camera when she realizes this statement.
  • Baby Fever Trigger: Implied and Played for Drama. Brandy is said to want something she can't have, which is implied to be children because the mention was intercepted with shots of her playing with her little niece Bingo. She's been away for four years, and so would have left when Bingo was one, so it's implied that seeing the one-year-old Bingo (along with her older sister Bluey) was too much for her and kept making her want the kids she couldn't have.
  • Celebrity Voice Actor: Rose Byrne as Chilli's older sister Brandy.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Brandy and Chilli end up doing the dance Chilli was practicing at the beginning of the episode to distract Bluey and Bingo.
  • Comedic Work, Serious Scene: Possibly one of the most (in)famous examples in the entire series. While mostly comedic thanks to Bingo acting like a feral cheetah and chasing everyone around the Heelers' home, Bluey asking Chilli why Brandy rarely visits leads to Chilli all but stating that Brandy is infertile (or at least is having a difficult time conceiving a child of her own), which is why she remained estranged from her sister and her family for so long.
  • Comically Missing the Point: When Brandy tries to shoo Bluey and Chilli away, Bluey thinks she's shooing a fly.
  • Compliment Backfire: Bluey doesn't like it when Brandy says, "You look just like your father".
  • Dance Party Ending: The episode ends with Bluey, Bingo, Brandy, and Chilli dancing the special dance that Chilli and Brandy created from their childhood as Bandit listens while on the ground, having been "eaten" by Bingo.
  • Funny Background Event:
    • While Chilli and Brandy have their heart-to-heart lying in the garden, in the background you can see Bingo chasing Bluey up and down the slide in circles.
    • After he's "eaten" by Bingo, Bandit lies down on the ground for the rest of the episode, playing on his phone.
  • Furry Reminder: Chilli and Brandy's tails wag when they see each other.
  • Gift for an Outgrown Interest: Played With. Aunt Brandy, who drifted apart from her sister's family, returns for a visit, bringing her nieces animal onesies.
    • When Chili sees the presents, she gets nervous, which makes Brandy worry the girls don't like onesies anymore. The girls actually love the onesies — the problem is Bingo tends to go feral and embody whichever animal her onesie represents, which in this case happens to be a cheetah.
    • Later, when Bluey asks if the cheetah onesie was available in her size, Brandy apologizes for not thinking of it, since the last time she saw Bluey, zebras were her favorite animal. Bluey replies that they used to be but she changed it to cheetahs four years ago, further emphasizing how long Brandy has been distant.
  • Here We Go Again!: When Bluey and Bingo swap onesies, Bluey approaches Chilli with:
    "Uh, Mum... It's happening again."
  • Law of Inverse Fertility: It's strongly implied that Brandy wants children but can't have any of her own due to infertility, given how it's been years since she last visited Chilli and how visibly nervous and shaken she is around Bluey and Bingo.
  • Lonely Piano Piece: Melancholy piano music can be heard in the background as Chilli explains to Bluey that Auntie Brandy left because there's something she wants (implied to be a child of her own), but can never have, and there's nothing anyone can really do about it.
  • Noodle Incident: Well there had to have been a last time that Bingo wore a onesie before the events of this episode.
  • Rule of Symbolism: When Bluey remarks on how she prefers cheetahs over zebras, she and Bingo try switching onesies. But the cheetah onesie is too tight on Bluey, and Bingo can just barely move in the cumbersome zebra onesie. So Bluey has to settle for the zebra onesie, even though cheetahs are her favorite animal. Later, Chili brings this up to Bluey as an analogy for why Brandy is reluctant to visit the Heeler family, as "the thing she wants" is as unobtainable as Bluey's own wish to fit the much-wanted cheetah onesie.
  • Serious Business: Everyone acts as though Bingo really is trying to hunt them all down when she puts on a cheetah onesie and starts acting like a feral cheetah.
  • Speak in Unison:
    • The Heeler girls say, "That's her!" at once when Brandy arrives, then they greet her in unison, then they say, "Really?" at once when Brandy says she's brought presents, and then they squeal, "Onesies!" upon receiving the titular costumes, causing them to scream in delight.
    • Chilli, Brandy, and Bluey shout, "Get out!" when Bingo follows them into the car.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Brandy heavily resembles Bingo. Unfortunately, it also contributes to why Brandy doesn’t visit the Heelers much.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: Chilli's reaction to Brandy gifting Bluey and Bingo onesies, as Bingo has a habit of embodying hers.
Brandy: I brought you some presents.
    Bluey and Bingo: Really?!
Chilli: Oh, Brandy, you shouldn't have.
    Brandy: (pulls out onesies)
    Bluey and Bingo: Onesies!
Chilli: Oh, you really shouldn't have.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Had Brandy known that Bingo would simulate the cheetah she was dressed as she would've never thought to bring her a onesie of a predatory animal. Nonetheless, her lack of understanding is what kicks off the plot.
