Tropes:
- Animal Reaction Shot: Just before Bandit knocks over Bluey, Bingo, and Chilli while pretending to be a balloon, it cuts away to a bird in a tree, flinching at the impact.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Bluey and Bingo asked Bandit to make Keepy Uppy more difficult. Challenge accepted! He goes out of his way to casually inconvenience the girls and create obstacles every step of the way. The bad news is, his machinations sends the balloon outside, where the grass is more likely to make it pop if it lands. And when that does happen, Bandit learns too late that this was Bluey's last balloon. Nonetheless, the good news is, the girls enjoyed the game more-so than if it had remained easy.
- "Everybody Laughs" Ending: The episode ends with everyone laughing after Bandit pretends to be a balloon and playfully knocks Bluey, Bingo, and Chilli, resulting in a dog pile on the ground.
- Loophole Abuse: The balloon landing on an inanimate object doesn't count as hitting the ground.
- Offscreen Teleportation: Bandit turns on the kitchen fan, sending Bluey and Bingo's balloon into the living room. As the girls race to catch it, they find Bandit waiting on the other side of the room (and he even found the time to grab a leaf blower to send the balloon flying again). Then, when Bluey and Bingo run into the toy room, Bandit is there with a bowl of cereal and strawberries in his paws.
- Saying Sound Effects Out Loud: Everyone says "Bwut!" whenever they hit the balloon.
- Serious Business: The game's stakes increase as the family and neighbours strive to keep the balloon off the ground. Justified, since the balloon made its way outside, and it will pop if it touches the grass.
