Seven year olds are not ideal doctors.

Bluey and Bingo are playing doctor, with Bandit as their patient.

Tropes:

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Bandit asks for a game where he can lie quietly. The kids end up playing doctor and Bluey jabs him a bunch of times with a "needle" and hits him with a "hammer."
  • Dr. Jerk: Bluey gleefully invokes this trope while seeing to her "patient", Bandit. She repeatedly jabs him with a "needle" (really a toy cylinder), tries to "operate" on him without putting him to sleep first (and wakes him up by snapping the "mask" over his face), and ultimately abandons him when she can't fix the problem.
  • Meatgrinder Surgery: Parodied when Bluey is about to "perform surgery" on Bandit and pulls out an eggbeater, with him asking, "You're not even gonna put me to sleep first!?"
  • Mister Seahorse: When Bandit says his belly hurts, Bluey asks, "Is there a baby in there?"
  • Saying Sound Effects Out Loud: Bluey says, "Sting!" whenever she pretends to stick Bandit with a needle.
  • Shout-Out: Bandit pretends his name is Telemachus, a reference to Ulysses 31.
  • Stock Animal Diet: Bluey and Bingo pretend that a mouse and a cat got into Bandit's tummy, so they try to lure the mouse out with a piece of cheese.
  • Terrible Artist: Bingo's "X-ray" drawings of a cat and a mouse in Bandit's stomach are mistaken for a possum and a potted plant respectively. Well, she is four years old.
