Blark turns the house into a cardboard school after he becomes envious of Son's almost parental relationship with his cool teacher.

- Bamboo Technology: Blark manages to make a somewhat functional school complete with students, furniture, and even pulleys and levers that he can use to move objects around as if they are alive, all made with just cardboard and rope.
- Cool Teacher: Son's teacher is this. He keeps bragging about him and even calls him his school dad. While going too far, Blark is understandably jealous. It's not shilling either, as when the teacher visits he quickly and succinctly puts Blark in his place, a feat almost no one else in the show has.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Blark plans to keep Son in his cardboard school for at least a week. But as Son's teacher puts it, if Blark keeps Son from attending real school, he will have no choice but to call child services who will most certainly take Son away. Notably, Blark completely relents upon hearing this.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Blark says this (with an added f-bomb) when he learns that Son has his teacher as his emergency contact and had called his teacher to rescue him.
