- Faking the Dead: As part of their plan to thwart Limburger's plot, Vinnie and Throttle fake their deaths by having Modo shoot at dummies of them.
- Shout-Out: James Bomb is a parody of James Bond, plus the episode's title is a reference to Goldfinger.
- The Name Is Bond, James Bond: Modo at one point introduces himself as "Mouse, Modo Mouse".
