Meanwhile, Fred and Wasabi deal with Crushroom going on a rampage.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Fred and Mini-Max borrow Crushroom's "Crushed it!"
    Crushroom: THAT'S MY CATCHPHRASE!
  • Censorship by Spelling: Cass does this to stop Mochi from freaking out over his trip to the vet. Unfortunately, Baymax doesn't get the hang of it until the end of the episode.
  • Cone of Shame: Mochi gets stuck with one after his vet visit. He's not happy about it.
  • Continuity Nod: Hiro and Cass use a pair of his Megabots and neural headbands to get into the vent and free Mochi.
  • Diabolus ex Machina: Just when it looks like Crushroom has been stopped, Noodle Burger Boy rides in on a go-kart to rescue her.
  • Eyes Are Mental: When Baymax and Mini-Max trade chips, Baymax's eyes change hue from black to Mini-Max's blue, and vice versa.
  • "Freaky Friday" Flip: Baymax and Mini-Max swap personality chips.
  • Height Angst: Mini-Max gets down about his size after Crushroom calls him "Baby Robot". It then goes the other way when he is "Maxi-Max" as Baymax's body was not built for his speedy style of fighting.
  • Help, I'm Stuck!: Mochi gets trapped in an air duct when he sprains one paw and gets another caught in a vent.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Mini Max gets depressed when called a baby, but is joyous when Fred offers him a piggy back ride.
  • Oh, Crap!: Hiro gives a look that screams this when Baymax begins to mention the numerous shots Mochi's checkup would entail.
  • Recycled Animation: Some of Baymax's dance sequences from "Fred's Bro-Tillion" are reused towards the end of the episode when Minimax wants to spend a little bit more time in Baymax's body before he has to have his programming chip reinserted into his own.
  • Secret Handshake: Fred and Minimax share one after Crushroom and Noodle Burger Boy escape. They try to get a weirded-out Wasabi to join in, but he refuses.
  • Voices Are Mental: Minimax and Baymax trade voices as well, which could be Hand Waved by assuming that the voices are determined by the chips.
  • What Could Possibly Go Wrong?: After Maxi-Max states he intends to fight Crushroom alone, Fred says the magic phrase and Maxi-Max promptly has his butt handed to him.
