The trio reunites.
Gwen and Kevin pay Ben a surprise visit, but does Kevin's strange behavior have anything to do with an angry Tetramand princess, or her father's fleet of warships prepared to attack the Earth?
Tropes in this episode:
- Accidental Marriage: Thanks to Kevin's scheming, Ben ends up unwittingly engaged to Looma.
- Batman Gambit: Once Kevin realized that Princess Looma is coming for him so they can get married, he makes it so Ben fights her and wins, meaning by Tetramand law, Ben is now engaged to Looma instead of him.
- Bittersweet Ending: Looma's rampage has stopped and the Tetramands left Earthm abandoning their intentions of destroying it. However, Ben ends up unwillingly engaged to Looma. Kevin, who's arguably responsible for bringing up this mess, learns nothing from this, much to the dismay of his friends.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Surprisingly averted. After Gwen finds out precisely why Princess Looma is after Kevin, she actually sympathizes with her, and is angry at Kevin for stringing her along.Gwen: That poor princess…
Kevin: That poor nothing. You're not—?
Gwen: (scoffs) What'd you expect, the "jealous girlfriend" routine? You're the one that jilted some vulnerable alien girl!
Argit: Oh, yeah. She looked real vulnerable, back there.
Gwen: She's just upset, Kevin. She's probably off somewhere right now crying her eyes out. - Early-Installment Weirdness: A minor example but Gwen's anodite form here includes a voice filter, something that subsequent episodes lack.
- Female Misogynist: For some reason, Looma laughs at the idea of fighting another girl.
- Funny Background Event: The Tetramand priest recites the wedding vows all throughout the final act, only being stopped once Ben and Looma get engaged.
- Pet the Dog: Argit of all people is the one who actually tries to warn Ben about what will happen if he defeats Looma in battle, but is silenced by Kevin.
- Psycho Ex-Girlfriend: Princess Looma is this (or rather a Psycho Ex-Fiancée) towards Kevin.
- What the Hell, Hero?: No one was happy to learn that Kevin engaged to Looma in exchange for a piece of Tetramand technology. Even Gwen feels sorry for her.
