Charmcaster returns and gets Kevin to help her to defeat Gwen.- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: The Mr. Smoothy mascot can only beg Ben to stop drinking him to no avail.Mr. Smoothy: Stop, please! I'm half empty!
Ben: Bad attitude. You're half full. - Armor-Piercing Response: Ben gives Kevin one whilst calling him out for his treatment of Gwen, which leads to the below Jerkass Realization.Ben: You are a giant rock-faced jerk!
Kevin: Yeah, whatever.
Ben: Not "whatever"! She's spending every spare moment going through every magic book she can find to try and help you! She's been doing it since the accident. - Art Initiates Life: Charmcaster magically brings to life the Mr. Smoothy mascot from the nearby billboard. Unfortunately for the mascot, Ben turns into Upchuck and drinks him until he's empty.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Charmcaster lures in and brainwashes Kevin to use him against Gwen.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Ben is more enthusiastic about the various traps Kevin tries to lure Gwen into, to hilarious levels.
- Jerkass Realization: Throughout the episode, Kevin acts like a complete dick to Gwen, openly accusing her of not even trying to find a way to fix his mutation after their ill-fated attempt to hack the Omnitrix, which makes him a prime target for Charmcaster's manipulations. At the end of the episode, he gets hit with a big-time helping of this when Ben gets fed up with his attitude and tells him that Gwen has in fact been spending all of her spare time since the accident trying to find a cure for him.
- Eating the Enemy: Well, more like "drink the enemy dry", but the trope is still in effect when Ben turns into Upchuck to drink the animated Mr. Smoothy mascot until he's empty.
- Kick the Dog: Ben sarcastically suggests that Kevin will be doing his next after he breaks the ball used by a couple of kids. Kevin simply snaps for the former to “lie there and work on your Ben tan”.
- Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Charmcaster spends the entire episode mistreating her rock creatures and calling them names. This comes back to bite her in the end when Gwen tries to suck her into a portal and the rock creature is the only thing keeping her from it. After one insult too many, the creature deliberately lets go and drops them both in.
- Plot Tailored to the Party: Lampshaded, when Ben counters the giant Mr. Smoothy by turning into Upchuck and drinking him dry.
- Running Gag:
Word of God is that Upchuck being able to drink the contents of Mr. Smoothly despite normally being incapable of eating Earth food is a Rule of Funny take on the gag of the menu at Mr. Smoothies barely being food. Of course, the fact that the Mr. Smoothy is a giant animated cardboard mascot likely indicates that whatever's inside isn't really food anyways... - Servile Snarker: Kevin after he's been brainwashed.Kevin: (monotone) Hey, give me a break. My mind's a blank.
- Too Dumb to Live: Yeah, Charmcaster, continuing to insult and be a Bad Boss to your rock minions when one of them is the only thing stopping you from being sucked into a portal wasn't exactly a smart move.
- What the Hell, Hero?: After Kevin spends the entire episode being a Jerkass to Gwen, believing that she hasn't even been trying to find a way to fix his most recent mutation, Ben hits him with one of these, not only informing him that Gwen has in fact been spending every spare moment since the accident occurred trying to find a cure for him, but also calling him out for automatically assuming that Gwen wasn't trying to help him in the first place.
