- Balloon Belly: The two develop this after drinking all of the punch.
- Insane Troll Logic: Beavis and Butt-Head conclude that the pesticide is Spanish fly because it has a fly painting and Spanish labels.
- Never Learned to Read: Beavis and Butt-Head misread the pesticide label as "Spanish Fly".

- The pair trying a good deed ends with them unwittingly poisoning themselves to death with the pesticide. Before they croak, they decide it's futile to try to do something good for other people.

- Nose Shove: The pair previously went to the hospital to get toy army men out of their nasal cavities.
- A Party, Also Known as an Orgy: The pair attempt to incite an orgy by lacing the punch at the dance with what they believe to be Spanish fly. Unsurprisingly, nothing happens.
- Poison Is Corrosive: The repellent Tom Anderson gives the boys ends up dissolving Beavis's shoe.
- Recycled Premise: This isn't the first time these two knuckleheads have experimented with Spanish fly.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Beavis and Butt-Head die at the end of the episode as a result of massive poisoning.
- Your Brain Won't Be Much of a Meal: While the boys still die, the ending implies that they may have avoided severe brain damage because there wasn't enough left for the DDT to eat away.Doctor: [looking at the duo's MRI printouts, which have huge black spots across the tissue] It's amazing they have enough brain function to still be alive.
Nurse: Actually, Doctor, these scans are from before they drank the DDT. These boys were here a month ago to have objects removed from their nasal cavities.
