Recap / Beavis And Butthead S 5 E 43 Patsies

Go To

Beavis and Butt-Head have to spend time with the Positive Acting Teens or PATs.

  • Actually Pretty Funny: Buzzcut at the idea of rehabilitating the duo.
  • Detention Episode: The duo are in detention at the start, and get sent to help the PATs as an alternative. After they injure Mr. Graham, they are sent back to detention until they confess.
  • Deadly Disc: Beavis finds a hubcap when they're cleaning up litter and they start to play frisbee, until a truck passes and causes it to hit Mr. Graham in the head.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: The PATs assume the duo simply need a little positivity, and their leader gets rewarded for it by getting hit in the head by a hubcap.
  • Incredibly Lame Fun: The PATs consider picking up litter to be this.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Buzzcut orders the duo to go with Mr. Graham to get out of work, and later orders the Positive Acting Teens to wash his car while Mr. Graham interrogates the duo.
  • Never My Fault: Beavis and Butt-Head insist that Mr. Graham's injury was the truck's fault, not theirs, even though the whole thing happened because they were tossing a hubcap around like a frisbee.
  • Redemption Rejection: Buzzcut and the PATs ask the duo if they want to reform, and both times, they outright refuse. Buzzcut forces them to go anyway, while Mr. Graham assumes they simply need to try it before they like it.
  • Sickeningly Sweet: Butt-Head considers the PATs this, although Beavis seems at least a little enthusiastic to pick up litter.
