- Bait-and-Switch: Alfred tells Duke to let Damian give him a tour of Wayne Manor as the latter is excited to show him around. Gilligan Cut to a stony-faced Damian.
- Cheshire Cat Grin: The sole time Damian smiles is when he warns Duke to be wary of Booby Traps.
- Foreshadowing: Damian shows Duke a family portrait of the Bat-Family, our soon to-be main cast.
- Lemony Narrator: The text boxes that introduces the characters starts off normally but soon becomes very snarky and opinionated as more characters are introduced.Text box: Bruce Wayne. A.K.A. - Sarcasm-Blind: When Duke asks Damian what the T-Rex Robot is for, he blankly replies “It eats intruders”. Duke happily declares that to be cool. He doesn't realize that it was sarcasm until he mentions it to Bruce.
- Welcome Episode: The episode is about Duke being ushered into Wayne Manor, officially joining the Batman Family as its newest member.
