Call It Karma: Played With. Gabriel's company is put under fire when tabloids spread pictures of Adrien in an "inappropriate relationship" with Marinette. While the situation isn't exactly "inappropriate", the karma comes blindly in Gabriel's direction, since he actually is responsible for all of the fallout caused by the Fairy Grandmother Incident.
Comically Missing the Point: When Gabriel gives the same offer he gave to Nathalie to Marinette, all Adrien hears is that Nathalie is pregnant with his half-sibling.
Internal Reveal: It's here that it becomes public Fairy Grandmother's intentions, revealing that her intent was to cause the Mystical Pregnancies that have been plaguing Paris.
While Marinette insists that they're cool with him, Adrien is understandably nervous meeting the parents of the girl he knocked up.
Marinette ends up meeting Gabriel because he had ordered his bodyguard to take them to his house to meet her.
Take a Third Option: Gabriel demands that Adrien and Marinette keep their distance from each other to keep Agreste's brand in-tact. Adrien refuses not to help, wanting to be a responsible father. Marinette gives a third idea in mind: Adrien gives an interview explaining that while he is having an illegitimate child, he intends on being a good parent anyway. It would endear him to a population going through the same unfair situation as him, encouraging other teen dads in his situation to follow his example, and since Adrien is essentially the "Face" of their brand, it would make the Agreste brand look good.
