The gang is on the run from the law.
Episode Tropes:
- Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Robert quoting Bob Marley in court, which has AJ silently wishing for him to shut the hell up.
- Bittersweet Ending: The gang manages to escape the FBI and Lana successfully gains custody of AJ. Unfortunately, they are still on the run and, according to Slater, Ray has joined Fabian in Manatina. The Agency must now head to the country and settle their score with Fabian and the IIA.
- The Bus Came Back: Trinette, who hasn't appeared since Season 2, makes a grand return. She even opened a brothel with the child support money Archer was forced to give her. Additionally, Slater returns since his last appearance in Season 7. Lastly, the penguin who saved Archer in the Antarctic in Season 11 appears on the news program (although sadly, it is an obituary).
- Gag Penis: Cyril's penis is brought up once again. It is so big that it serves as a distraction for the FBI agents.
- Hypocrite Has a Point: Robert claims that he respects Lana and AJ's autonomy, though the fact that he is revealed to be the FBI's mole seems to ditch that notion for the former. Then again, he was only doing this for AJ's sake.
- Laugh Track: Pam fights her boredom by playing laugh track and applause sound effects from her phone during the opening scene.
- Secret Test: Robert claims the custody hearing was this to prove how much AJ loves Lana and to prove Lana's worth as a mother. He is proud that she passed this, but since he is just an eccentric billionaire, they see this as condescending.
- Shout-Out: Krieger quotes Doc Brown before he reveals that his van can operate as a boat.(about the roadblocks the FBI set up) Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.
- Skewed Priorities: The opening has Cyril and Archer both showing this at the news of the team being framed for Fabian's crimes. Cyril is annoyed this came after a story on a penguin while Archer is bugged the report has Cyril named as the team leader.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Seamus looks like a young brunette version of Cyril; something neither Archer nor Trinette seems to realize.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Cyril inspires the rest of the gang to go after Fabian... Then makes the mistake of declaring that he'll start dating for the first time since he and Lana broke up again, once more earning ridicule.
- We Need a Distraction: Lana already has enough on her plate with the custody hearing, but getting arrested by the FBI is a guarantee that she will lose AJ forever. Archer has everyone spend most of the episode getting two undercover agents their attention long enough for Lana to wrap things up.
- What the Hell, Hero?: AJ is fed up with Robert, and rhetorically asks him why he's even doing everything to keep custody of her when she prefers Lana.
