Carl has a guest over while under house arrest. Meanwhile, Shake cooks up a pan of lasagna for Carl.
"Lasagna" contains examples of:
- Affably Evil: Lance has no problem with kicking Carl off his roof to break his bones, yet still comes off as amiable and offers to sell him a milkshake to help regenerate his bones... granted, drinking it merged all of Carl's bones into one "hideous super bone".
- Brilliant, but Lazy: Shake manages to cook up a delicious pan of lasagna. The same Shake who complains about a lack of food, to the point he tossed it out and didn't bother eating it, and how broke he is, seeing as he could have easily sold it to Carl for any price he deemed acceptable.
- Butt-Monkey: One of Carl's most infamous depictions in the series. He's at anger management class because he hit a prostitute for biting his tongue, along with being put under house arrest with a cop who has little patience for his attitude, Shake tormenting him with delicious lasagna, Lance pushing him off his roof, ending up in the hospital and is tricked into falling to his death out of a building by Shake.
- Jerkass: Shake makes a delicious pasta just to torment Carl by making him run into the electric fence. Frylock is quick to call out how incredible cruel it is, only for Shake to defend his actions by saying he's incredible bored.
- Karma Houdini: Lance gets Carl's bones broken before getting him to drink a milkshake that merges all his bones into one. Shake tricks Carl with lasagna into jumping out of a window and fall to his death. Neither of them are punished for their misdeeds.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: Lance the ScamWow salesman is a deliberate parody of Vince Offer of the ShamWow commercials.
- Too Dumb to Live: Carl needlessly threatens to fight with a cop, causing him to get pushed into the electric fence. Said cop tricks him into walking into the electric fence twice after. There's also the fact he keeps falling for Shake's blatant scheme of running into the electric fence, along with being tricked into falling out a window.
