Meatwad and his family.
In this double-length mock-finale, Frylock and Shake are slowly dying after their respective jewels begin to fizzle out. It's up to Meatwad to save the Aqua Teens before time runs out.
  • Anthropomorphic Shift: In the Distant Finale, Meatwad has gone from being a piece of meat with eyes and a mouth to having arms, legs, and hair and is wearing clothes.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Carl is genuinely saddened when he learns that Shake died. Then he asks Meatwad if he is sure, with Meatwad nonchalantly showing Shake's glove as evidence.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Meatwad is unsuccessful in his quest and Frylock and Shake pass away. However, Meatwad grows up, gets married, has children, and lives a happy life. The (supposed) final minutes of the series has Meatwad take his family to the Aqua Teen household and reminisce on the adventures he's had.
  • Continuity Cavalcade: Being a (fake) Series Finale, there are loads of call-backs to previous episodes.
  • Distant Finale: The last few minutes take place several decades in the future.
  • Face Death with Dignity: As Shake gets torn apart by clams, he proudly proclaims:
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Meatwad's children in the Distant Finale have meatball heads on human bodies.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Master Shake wards off the giant clams, allowing Meatwad to swim to the Mother Clam. Unfortunately the clams devour Master Shake in the process. Though this borderlines on Senseless Sacrifice, as Meatwad claims that there could have been more sensible ways of distracting the clams.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Both Shake and Carl are uncharacteristically selfless here, with Shake's Heroic Sacrifice and Carl trying to comfort the Aqua Teens over their impending demise.
  • Mythology Gag: Frylock and Shake's jewels have a lifespan of 15 years, which is the same amount of time they've been detectives and the same amount of years since the show's premiere.
  • Series Fauxnale: A surprisingly serious episode of the show with minimal humor and actual drama. It was billed as the Grand Finale. Then the true finale, in line with the show's general tone, aired three days later in secret (as a reference to the three day ressurection of Jesus).
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Played for Drama. Shake is killed off by being eaten by giant clams during his Heroic Sacrifice while Frylock passes away as his gem runs out of fuel, and these are taken completely seriously compared to the hundreds of times they've died before.
  • Whatever Happened to the Mouse?: Carl's whereabouts are unknown in the future. The only hint we have is that he doesn't live in his house anymore.
