Wally Llama: The Warners visit the all-knowing guru Wally Llama for the answer to an important question. However, Wally is sick of answering questions and would like to be left alone!

Where Rodents Dare: The Brain hopes to freeze the world leaders at a peace conference in Switzerland.

Wally Llama has examples of

  • The Cameo: At one point, Pinky and the Brain randomly walk by Wally Llama's mountain.
  • The Cat Came Back: No matter where Wally goes, the Warners are waiting for him.
  • Heroic BSoD / Sanity Slippage: Happens to Wally Llama at the end when he realizes he doesn't know the answer to the Warners' question.
    Yakko: Maybe we should just write Dear Abby.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: The last person Wally sees before the Warners is Shirley MacLaine, who wants to know if she was Kaye Ballard in a past life. (A spoof on MacLaine's belief in reincarnation – Kaye Ballard was still alive when the cartoon was produced.)
  • Reverse Psychology: The Warners get Wally to hear their question by saying that he probably doesn't know the answer.
  • Take That!: Yakko says that climbing up all the stairs is "worse than Sweatin' to the Oldies.
    Dot: But not as annoying.
    Yakko: True. No Richard Simmons.

  • Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?: "I think so, but where would we find an open tattoo parlor at this time of night?"
  • Bilingual Bonus: The castle where the peace conference is taking place is called Schloss Danke Shoen, German for "thank you very much."
  • Brick Joke: To see how far the drop is, Pinky spits from his vantage point. When he and the Brain accidentally drop, the spit hits Pinky on the head.
  • The Cameo: The Warners are seen sitting with the dignitaries at the dinner table.
  • Code Name: On the walkie-talkies, the Brain is Gray Squirrel, and Pinky is Bullfrog.
  • Commercial Break Cliff Hanger: The first half ends with Pinky and Brain falling to a ravine after their first failed attempt to land. The plan resumes after the ads.
  • I Am Not Weasel: Pinky gets offended when the news reporter mistakes them for rats.
  • Insistent Terminology: Brain prefers to be called "General Brain" in this short. This marks the first of several titles that Brain wants Pinky to call him but Pinky keeps forgetting.
  • Left the Background Music On: When a military drumming is heard, it's always revealed to be Pinky until Brain tells him to cut it out.
  • Shout-Out: The title spoofs Where Eagles Dare.
  • Swallowed Whole: Pinky and Brain by separate birds. They communicate to each other through the stomach walls pressed against each other, rather one-sidedly on Pinky's part.
  • Tongue on the Flagpole: Pinky licks the frozen janitor and gets his tongue stuck.
