The Presidents Song contains examples of:

Don't Tread on Us contains examples of:

  • Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?: "I think so, Brain, but where do they stick the feather and call it 'macaroni'?"
  • Been There, Shaped History: Pinky and the Brain, as it turns out, were at the Boston Tea Party, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitutional Convention, and were part of Ben Franklin's kite experiment.
  • The Bus Came Back: This is Pinky and the Brain's first appearance on Animaniacs since getting their own spin-off.
  • The Cameo: Once again, the Flame appears alongside Jefferson. Also, Elmer Fudd appears at the beginning hunting "wedcoats. Hahahahahahahahaha."

The Flame Returns by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow contains examples of:

  • Artistic License – History: "The Landlord's Tale" was not the original name of "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere". It was retitled that when it was included in the poetry collection Tales of a Wayside Inn.
  • Bat Family Crossover: A lot of the Animaniacs cast play minor roles in the recitation of the poem. Including:
    • Ralph as the carrier of the lantern
    • Kiki, Sasha and Baby Blue Bird appear appear awakened by the lantern
    • Chicken Boo during the line "the crowing of the cock"
    • Buttons during the line "the barking of the farmer's dog"
    • Rita and Runt appear outside town hall
    • Yakko and Wakko as soldiers with Dot as a shepherd
    • Slappy and Skippy are ready at the battleground
  • Never Say "Die": Averted. During the stanza "And one was safe and asleep in his bed / Who at the bridge would be first to fall, / Who that day would be lying dead, / Pierced by a British musket-ball.", a man is seen lying in bed, and the scene cross-dissolves to his lifeless body on the Revolutionary battleground.
