Airdate: November 5th, 1994

The Warners are too busy doing something important today, so for this A Day in the Limelight episode, the Goodfeathers star in two cartoons.

Miami Mama-Mia: When the Goodfeathers go to Miami to see the wedding of Pesto's widowed mother, he's disgusted to learn she's marrying a young seagull, and tries to stop the wedding.

Pigeon on the Roof: The Goodfeathers and their girlfriends star in this loose parody of Fiddler on the Roof, which targets marriage and musicals.

Miami Mama-Mia contains examples of:

  • Burning with Anger: Upon discovering that his mother's fiance is a twenty-something-year-old seagull, Pesto's head bursts into flames. Bobby and Squit have to drop him in the Atlantic in order to put him out.
  • May–December Romance: Pesto's mother's fiance, Steven Seagull, is in his mid-twenties. Pesto doesn't approve of the age difference.

Pigeon on the Roof:

  • And You Were There: When Pesto has a Catapult Nightmare, he says that Bobby and Squit were in it. Bobby follows up the Shout-Out by calling him "Toto".
  • Foreshadowing: At the beginning of the skit, Squit comments that without the statue of Martin Scorsese, the pigeons would be forced to be pigeons on a roof. Sure enough, at the end of the skit, when the statue is replaced with one of Regis Philbin, the pigeons declare they'd rather live on a roof than settle on that.
  • Reverse Psychology: Kiki tricks Pesto into saying they'll get married. It's not until afterwards does Pesto realize what he just did.
  • Take That!: At the end of the skit, the statue of Scorsese is replaced by a statue of Regis Philbin, which the Goodfeathers refuse to perch on, even singing a song about it.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: To Fiddler on the Roof. Because who better than to parody a Jewish musical than... a bunch of Italian-American mafioso pigeons?

Coo:

  • Song Parody: The song is a spoof of "Cool" from West Side Story. The song was actually cut from "West Side Pigeons".
  • Who Writes This Crap?!: Following the episode's events, Pesto gives a rant that it was "the most confusing, mixed-up cockamamie script I've ever read in my entire beakin' life!"

Good Idea, Bad Idea:

  • The Cameo: The Warners make an appearance at the end of the episode in a "Wheel of Morality" sketch.
  • Padding: The episode was too short, so they filled out the rest of the show with a bunch of "Good Idea, Bad Idea" sketches, as well as a Wheel of Morality, where Yakko, Wakko, and Dot finally make an appearance.

Closing Tower Gag: Wakko: Wanna see me make bubbles with my spit? Yakko: Sure do! In fact, that's the theme of our next show! Dot: So don't miss it!
