We're No Pigeons: A hungry young owl attacks the Goodfeathers, but they manage to convince him that they're not pigeons, they're "macaroni birds", and send him off to find a pigeon.
Whistle Stop Mindy: Mindy and Buttons wind up on a train.
The Broken Date: Katie Ka-Boom's date doesn't show up on time.
We're No Pigeons contains examples of:
- The Cameo: The skunk that appears in this cartoon bears a resemblance to Pepé Le Pew, though it's unclear whether or not it actually IS Pepe.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: When Bobby and Pesto lie to the owl about being macaroni birds, Squit warns them that this will get them in trouble, but they don't listen to him. At the end of this episode, the Goodfeathers learn from the owl that the owls have made a deal with the Godpigeon not to hunt them. However, the owl hunts them anyway, believing that since they lied to him about being macaroni birds, they're probably lying to him about being the Goodfeathers.
- Honesty Aesop: In this episode, a hungry young owl attacks the Goodfeathers, as he is trying to hunt pigeons. To avoid being hunted, Pesto and Bobby tell the owl they're macaroni birds and that pigeons look different from them. Squit warns Bobby and Pesto that lying to the owl will get them in trouble, but Bobby and Pesto don't listen to him. At the end of the episode, the Goodfeathers confess to the owl that they're pigeons, but learn from the owl that the owls have made a deal with the Godpigeon not to hunt the Goodfeathers. Unfortunately for them, the owl captures them anyway, believing that since they lied to him about being macaroni birds, they're probably lying to him about being the Goodfeathers.
- Rule of Three: The owl captures three other animals, having mistaken them for pigeons; a skunk, a Sewer Gator, and an elephant.
- Smelly Skunk: The owl brings one to the Goodfeathers at one point, under the impression that he's a pigeon. All four birds wind up getting sprayed.
Whistle Stop Mindy contains examples of:
- Rail-Car Separation: Mindy strays onto the mail car of a train. When Buttons chases after her, Mindy pulls out the bolt that keeps the mail car coupled to the passenger coach, causing the two cars to separate. Buttons grabs the couplings of the two cars to keep them together and lets Mindy walk across him like a bridge. When Mindy gets to the passenger car, Buttons puts the bolt back in the couplings.
The Broken Date contains examples of:
- Blatant Lies: When Katie's date actually DOES show up, she claims that she hardly noticed he was late.
- Karma Houdini: Katie gets no comeuppance for destroying her parents' house with her violent outbursts.
