Masikura tries to take a vacation, but Julien refuses to let her go as he does not trust his own ability to make decisions, so she makes up a story about a pineapple containing the wisdom of King Juliens past and leaves him to it.

- Dramatically Missing the Point: When everyone tells Julien he doesn't need a pineapple to make decisions, and he's capable of making them himself, he agrees. Only to make the decision himself to perform a Heroic Sacrifice to save Piney.
- Indulgent Fantasy Segue:
- When Julien presents the pineapple to the kingdom, Mort gets jealous of it and attacks it viciously. That turns out to be a fantasy.
- Clover vows to find whoever took the pineapple, and is then shown attacking every lemur in the kingdom. As she slaps one around, it suddenly turns into Maurice, revealing that it was one of Clover's Cowboy Cop fantasies.
- Judgment of Solomon: One of the first decisions Julien uses Piney to resolve is two kids fighting over a ball.Julien: What's that, King Julien the Resolver? Yes! I have a solution! (pops the ball and tears it in half, giving one to each child) There you go! Now go to your huts and atrophy like normal children!
- Magic Feather: What Piney is supposed to be, but parodied as Julien doesn't really make any better descisions as a result, just more confident ones.
