For a show cut from the same cloth as Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel was pretty light on dubious content. However, that doesn't mean the show didn't have a knack for getting past the censors. It is a standard for Cartoon Network programming.
- This conversation from the first episode "This Bridge, Not Weasel Bridge, which implies the worker's wife cheated on him with another man and had a child.Worker: I will get to see my wife and kids! I've never seen my little Johnny, he was born 2 years after I started this job!
- "Queen of Denile" takes full advantage of the fact that "asp" sounds dangerously close to "ass". At one point, I.R. Baboon comments that he's "never seen so much asp before", before the scene cuts to Queen Cleo-pantsless (The Red Guy) standing with her naked rear facing the camera.
- "Honey I Are Home" implies human/animal bestiality when we meet Weasel and Conchita's kids, both being Human/Weasel hybrids.
- The Mexican dub managed to sneak a reference to Bill Clinton's sex scandal of all things.

, changed the Popemobile's model and cleaned Moni's stained dress. - The episode where Baboon is trying to get his licence, he keeps making awful rhyming during the way. In the Mexican dub he's telling jokes instead, managing to get some rather dirty ones on the way.
- "Doctor, doctor, my mouth stinks!" "Well, either stop biting your nails or stop scratching back there!"
- "This was a man so ugly that instead of a little bird, he had a bat" (In Mexico "pajarito" (little bird) is a rather childish euphemism for penis).
- The last one is a Spoonerism mixed with Last-Second Word Swap. "No es lo mismo te repito el trato que te retrato el... día de tu boda" "Te Repito el Trato" means "I Repeat the deal to you" while "Retrato el día de tu boda" would mean "Take a picture of your wedding day". However, the real spoonerism would be" Te Retrato el Pito", which means "I take a picture of your dick".
- The name of the ground plane that Weasel and Baboon are operating in "Mission: Stupid" is called "Enola Happy".
