Lloyd's grandfather has just seen the pageant he produced idealizing their family's ancestral holiday of Theerlap and left the performance in outrage.
Lloyd's Grandpa: *Putting on his coat* Baby Snowball! Lava Man! Stupidest nonsense I ever heard of!
Lloyd: *walks toward his grandfather* Grandpa?
Lloyd's Grandpa: Leave me alone, Lloyd, or Sergeant Starscoop, or whoever the heck you think you are!
Lloyd: Grandpa, listen. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to see any of this.
Lloyd's Grandpa:Yeah, well, that's pretty obvious! You never would have tried to get away with all them lies if you thought the old man would be around!
Lloyd: Well, I wouldn't really call them lies...
Lloyd's Grandpa: Of course they were! Theerlap don't involve any lasers or explosions or people made of magma!
Lloyd: Okay, so maybe I did lie a little, but I did it for a good reason, grandpa I just wanted all my friends to like Theerlap.
Lloyd's Grandpa: What do you care whether your friends like Theerlap or not? It's a holiday, not a thrill ride! All that matters is what Theerlap means to you!
Lloyd: But to be honest with you, I kinda don't like it all that much, either.
Lloyd's Grandpa: Ah, yes. Eating pulp gourd cakes and "turn out the lights" ain't quite excitin' enough for you.
Lloyd: Well, no. It's kinda not exciting at all.
Lloyd's Grandpa: I guess that's true. Theerlap don't stand up against Droimatz at all when it comes to excitement.
Lloyd: Exactly!
Lloyd's Grandpa: Yeah, I see. You completely missed the point! Listen, boy. Three thousand years ago, something amazing happened to your ancestors. When we build a hut and open up pulp gourd cake, we're not doing it for kicks.
We're doing it to remember them and how they survived, and without the folks who came before us, there would be no us.
* Lloyd hangs his head*
Lloyd's Grandpa: Ah, Lloyd. Theerlap ain't about excitement. It's about you, and showing your respect for everyone who made you possible: your great-great-grandfathers, and your great-grandfathers...and your grandfathers.
* Lloyd frowns and hangs his head again*
Lloyd's Grandpa: well, here comes the show crowd. I reckon we'd better head home. As a surprise, I set up a tent in the living room for a Theerlap heap celebration, but I guess I'll understand if you don't want to come.
* He leaves*

Cheery Theerlap, Lloyd!
