Back Again, Back Again
is a new audio drama about prophecies, alternate realms, and girls with swords. And — of course — it's very, very queer.

Back Again, Back Again contains examples of:
- Child Soldiers: Ilyaas and Cassian are both only seventeen yet still have to go on life-threatening missions. Yikes.
Ilyaas: He squeezed, gently, once, twice, a reminder, I’m here. I’m sorry, as the queen went on in Rhysean and we tried to look like children of prophecy rather than just… children.
- Conlang: Rhysean is a conlang created by Abigail Eliza.
- Everyone Is Bi:
Word of God that everyone can be assumed bi/pan unless stated otherwise. In the case of Ilyaas it has been confirmed in podcast. So far the only exception is Rhia, who is a lesbian, and Ilyaas and Cassian are both bi ace.- As of episode 11 Ilyaas and Cassian are both confirmed in podcast to be somewhere between ace and demi.
- Fountain of Youth: Though Ilyaas was twenty-three at the end of her time in Rhysea, when she exits she returns to seventeen, the age she was when she entered.
- Language Barrier: The only Rhyseans who can speak English are the Royals and Rhia. Also a bit of Hiding Behind the Language Barrier seeing as the Royals sometimes talk in Rhysean in front of her.
- Meaningful Name: Cassius Rex; Rex meaning 'king' in Rhysean (and Latin).
- Narnia Time: Ilyaas falls asleep at 11:38 and wakes up at 12:03 having spent the past five years in Rhysea.
- Also a case of Year Inside, Hour Outside
- Non-Heteronormative Society: Cassian casually mentions the fact that he is transgender, a fact no one seems to take any issue with.
- It's even been stated by the creator that in the Rhysean language gendered pronouns and titles do not exist.[1]

- Only the Chosen May Wield: Ilyaas is the only one able to touch her sword. Also a bit of Giving the Sword to a Noob since she can't actually fight.
- Or Was It a Dream?: Given that Ilyaas was wearing armor after waking back up in Georgia it is almost certain that her time in Rhysea was not a dream.
- The Chosen One: Ilyaas is the Vatakina elegida, the prophecy child. Also to a slightly lesser extent, Cassian.
