- Straight: Alice and Bob are in France. Alice wonders something, and Bob says "This is France!"
- Exaggerated: Alice worries about something and Bob says "This is Earth!"
- Downplayed: Bob says "This is France and what you asked about doesn't happen that much in France"
- Justified: Alice was wondering if a lion would eat them. There are no lions in France.
- Inverted: Alice worries about a problem that she associates specifically with France.
- Subverted: Bob says "This is France", but Charlie says "But that happens in France, too."
- Double Subverted: But Diane says "Yeah, but not in Paris!"
- Parodied: ???
- Zig Zagged: "We're in France, that doesn't happen in France. Does it? Of course not. Maybe. etc"
- Averted: Nobody says anything about where they are to justify/debunk things.
- Enforced: The writers want to educate about certain companies.
- Lampshaded: "How does being in France stop X from happening?"
- Invoked: Alice never learned geography and Bob takes her traveling.
- Exploited: Bob uses this as his way of showing off his knowledge about geography, and Alice goes to him for advice/information when they are in another country.
- Defied: Alice knows everything that happens in France.
