- Straight: Scott ends up getting a blood transfusion from a werewolf, and becomes one as a result.
- Exaggerated: Scott was seriously injured as the result of an accident, and got blood transfusions from multiple superbeings. He ends up with Combo Platter Powers.
- Downplayed: After getting a blood transfusion from a werewolf, Scott doesn't become one, but does get some abilities associated with them. Some abilities include intense strength, more endurance, and faster running speed.
- Justified:
- Lycanthropy is spread through blood, so it's understandable that a blood transfusion from a werewolf would cause one to develop it.
- Scott was severely injured - he was given the blood of a superpowered being in hopes it'd give him a higher Healing Factor.
