Basic Trope: A ship is mysterously located really far away from any water
- Played Straight: The SS Troper is found in the middle of the Sahara Desert, and nobody knows how that happened.
- Exaggerated: There's an entire fleet of ships that popped up overnight.
- Downplayed: The SS Troper located just a few meters from the Atlantic Ocean, so its easy to figure how it got there.
- Justified: The SS Troper got stranded while the desert was still a sea.
- Inverted: There is a train at the bottom of the ocean.
- Subverted: We pan to see the "desert" is really just a beach at low tide, and the water's coming back.
