Elton John pinball: Play the silver ball!
Elton John is a 2023 pinball machine released by Jersey Jack Pinball. Designed by Steve Ritchie, illustrated by Christopher Franchi, software by Bill Grupp, Duncan Brown, and Joe Katz.
The player first picks an Elton John song they wish to hear initially during the game with the flippers and then choosing it using the Action Button. Then the player gets a number of tasks to complete, from collecting musical notes and parts of Elton's wardrobe, to starting up song themed multiballs.
Watch a animatronic Elton John play his piano and stare out at you, the audience member, while you work to score as many points as possible.
The 'Elton John'' pinball demonstrates the following tropes:
- Fetch Quest: Collect Elton's clothing items, such as his glasses, shoes, and head pieces for points.
- Skill Shot: Regular skill shot is hitting the middle drop target after a hard plunge around the orbit to the left flipper, Super Skill Shot for soft plunging the ball and then using the upper right flipper to hit the ball up the left side ramp.
- Visual Pun: Crocodile Rock Multiball features a moving animatronic crocodile, and animated crocodiles on the LCD screen playing instruments when multiball starts.
