The Jefferson Library section of Emem's path is a Mordor-like prison where prisoners are taken from the homeless, stripped of their memories, and left to be bled for the Tremere until they finally die. It is also done to Kindred that happen to fall into the Hartford Tremere's hands. All of the human prisoners are completely broken by their experience and beg for death.
You can come across a torture chamber where a Nosferatu was frequently drained for his blood and watch him struggle as the Tremere say he should be honored for providing blood to them, however involuntarily.
One of the memories you can recover as Emem is her being grabbed by one of the Prince's progeny as well as his henchmen. They proceed to forcibly blood bond her over three days, in what leaves a horrifying trauma that lasts for years thereafter. It has strong overtones of sexual assault.
Galeb finds the headless corpse of Jason Moore in his apartment building, highlighting the kind of bloodshed in Kindred society. It's not Jason, though.
Galeb, in his escape from the police, can force the police to kill each other or themselves. Indeed, he can turn their escape into a massacre.
After two acts of build-up, we finally get to visit the Unification Party as Leysha. It is filled with massacred humans, vampires that were burned alive, and harvested organs from staked vampires (meaning it was done while they were immobilized and conscious). The callousness of the human authorities is tremendous as is the methodical nature of the destruction. Three Kindred are also put in metal boxes to be burned alive from the sun and you can only save one.
Galeb suffers horrific burns on his face that results in him being deformed for the rest of the game. The fact that he can have this inflicted upon him by a mortal's true faith also makes it worse.
