• While they definitely deserve it, The Purge of House Frey is all kinds of disturbing. The call for vengeance runs so deep that Edmure actually considers massacring a parley team because, as he says, "Freys have no honor!"
  • Then there's what he does to Black Walder. First, Edmure punches him repeatedly into a bloody pulp, then grabs a rock and smashes his head with it, calling it his "trial by combat".
  • And there's his terrible ultimatum to Stevron. That the Freys can either lose "All or most. Choose. NOW."
• The depths of the maesters' conspiracy are all kinds of terrifying to see what would happen when the messengers and learned men of a nation turn towards their own ends.
  • They let Joanna Lannister bleed out after giving birth to Tyrion in order to destabilize Tywin to then move against House Targaryen. Tyrion, upon learning of this, swears darkly to make the treacherous maester that left his mother to die and in turn, ruined his own life, pay very dearly for it.
  • They intercepted and burned letters from Lyanna, Rhaegar, and Elia that would've explained the truth of the supposed "kidnapping" that kickstarted Robert's Rebellion.
  • They were poisoning Doran Martell and Lady Alerie Tyrell in order to keep the lords to their own affairs to keep themselves in charge.
  • They assassinated Luthor Tyrell by poisoning his horse, causing it to fall off a cliff.
• What can make the Zombie Apocalypse of the Long Night even worse? How about the fact that the Night King remembers the old timeline and is acting on that information to attack even harder than he did before?
