- The tsunami scene. Gee, where do we begin?
- The build up to it is pretty scary. It starts off small, first the power goes out and the wind picks up a bit. Then the guests begin to hear a rumbling towards the beach, with a few dogs barking. Birds fly away in a hurry and a few trees topple. Then we start to hear people screaming. And then suddenly a giant wall of water begin barreling towards the guest, decimating everything in its path.
- Henry just barely grabs Simon and Thomas before the wave takes them.
- Seeing Maria and Lucas being thrown around like ragdolls underwater, being beaten by the debris.
- The nightmare Maria has during surgery.
- The tsunami scene was described by people who survived the real thing as being extremely accurate, to the point where some had flashbacks when they saw the trailer.
- Seeing Maria cough up a bloody fishing line.
- Maria's rather gory injuries, the worst of which are her leg and her breast, both of which are torn open alarmingly.
- One of the first tsunami victims shown at the hospital is a woman wheeled past on a stretcher, biting down on a piece of cloth and screaming because both of her legs are either badly dislocated or broken and topped with numerous bloody scratches and bruises.
