Nightmare Fuel / The Coffin of Roboute and His 20 Sisters

A list of Nightmare Fuel events in this fanfiction, because it wouldn't be an Warhammer 40,000 story without them.

• Kassandra's time on Nostramo. While not much is shown,it is clearly not a place meant for children to wander alone. Kassandra had quietly dragged several dead carcass of dogs to feed on and while travelling, she let a woman gets raped by three men because she doesn't have the strength to help her.
• Asarnil merely laughing a bit too much at something Roboute tells him is enough for She Who Thirsts to notice him and try to eat his soul, and he has to very suddenly and quickly rein in his emotions simply not to die.
• Aurelia's treatment at the hands of her Abusive Dad Kor Phaeron and his men, who abused her into growing up into an adult in seven months, and one of her many punishments she often received would be sexual assault. Aurelia's words indicate it was only because she knew through dreams that Roboute would come to rescue her that she didn't break, with the terrifying possibility that if roboute came only slightly later, Aurelia really would have broken under the abuse.
  • The Colchians because of Kor Phaeron's cruelty, was dragged into the crossfire as Roboute was too angry to care. The Aeldari forces burned down the pace and the Colchian were unable to put up much of a resistance because their technology were inferior.
  • To make matters worse, Erebus may still live because only 1/3 of the population of Colchis were purged. Meaning things can still turn bad for Roboute.
• The revolting transformation of Barbarus into a Nurglite Daemon World because the Xeno chaos sorcerous overlords had planned a planet-wide spell, which Roboute failed to notice this until it became too late to stop.
  • Morrigan vastly underestimating how dangerous the situation has become and goes on a one-man assault on Necare's fortress, which causes Roboute to chaise after her in a panic to save her life, and causes some of the remaining people of Barbarus to get caught in the crossfire.
  • What is even worse is that the death of Necare results in the ritual finishing earlier than anticipated, leading to Roboute having to grab Morrigan and run while his armour and skin are falling off him while doing so, getting away with their lives barely intact, with Roboute getting badly wounded and falling into a short coma.
  • Just before they're able to get away a Great Unclean One shows up, trying his best to grab both Roboute and Morrigan, who only are saved when a wraithknight intervenes, which is nearly destroyed completely, only surviving because the Spirit Stone inside remained intact.
• The people of Prospero had to try and live their life trying to fend off against spiritual parasites that live off of Psykers and Madonna's reason for putting up a theatrical act is to act like a child to take their minds off of it.
