YOU LET THE BUNNY KNOW
- Number 8 couldn't resist the temptation to wander off to the Labyrinth, even as Gardener "Skye" warned them ad nauseam not to, or suffer the consequences. The Handy Pal trembles as the rabbit lets her disguise slip off to show her eldritch true nature, and chase after Number 8 all while ripping the poor thing to shreds.
- Your first sight of a Mutated Handy Pal out in the woods. Its unsettling monstrous spider-like appearance as its devouring what was left of a normal Handy Pal who was following you for a fishing trip. What's even more unsettling is, this mindless creature is afraid of Silvie and does everything it can to avoid her while hunting.
- "Skye" takes Nelson for a Fishing Minigame for 'all time's sake'. It soon becomes apparent, this is no friendly game. She summons piranhas and vicious creatures to eat Cursor while they are trying to catch fish underwater. The screen darkens and the music goes tense whenever they close in, and the larger monsters can One-Hit Kill the player.
- "Skye" then barfs up dark goo, then mocks Nelson for being so trusting. The frog is trapped by spider-like legs surrounding his boat. Her eyes glow as the demonic rabbit takes sadistic pleasure in tormenting him with the knowledge that she has his son, Ben, held captive. Nelson is understandably fearful. She forces the frog to play one last round with life-or-death stakes. Now the Cursor has to survive many predators, including one massive monster with many teeth.
- You expect "Skye" to honor the rules of the game when Nelson and the Cursor beat her fairly in three rounds of fishing. In reality, both see she's visibly angry, then breaks down into uncontrollable psychotic rage, screaming a rant of paranoid accusations that Nelson was plotting to kill her all along. The game itself puts a question mark over her name in the text box. Her Handy Pals tremble in fear as her eyes glow more pronouncedly than ever before, as her tongue hangs out. The rabbit summons the giant beast seen earlier from the lake's depths to kill Nelson.
- When Cursor regains consciousness, Nelson is nowhere to be found, his home full of bloodied-bandages. They soon find his dismembered head out in the woods, being eaten by a Mutated Handy Pal.
- You later come across several monstrous Mutated Handy Pals in the Woods. The Cursor cannot fight them, and must try to hide, if detected they will eat the player. This culminates in a Stern Chase from Number 10.
