- The primary source of spooks is Ghost Peach, some demonic creature who might be Peach, might be possessing Peach, or might just bear a heavy resemblance to Peach. All we know is she/it is watching you constantly, if her numerous cameos throughout the hack are any proof. And then when she starts chasing you...
- Then there's the incredibly glitchy void room, or the times where Mario finds his own ghost or corpse.
- Special mention goes to the secret "pink forest" stage that can only be found by hacking, which was Dummied Out for a very good reason. The forest is now covered in blood and corpses, Mario's head is inexplicably upside-down, and if you complete the level, you will eventually encounter a giant, demonic-looking Peach before your game crashes.
- If you somehow manage to fall down the pit before the game crashes,note then Mario (whose head is still upside down, by the way) will fall down a chasm onto another Mario, crashing the game upon landing, which makes as much sense as anything else in the hack.
- Perhaps the most terrifying part of it all is how next-to-no context is given for what is happening, what with the text boxes being bizarre and cryptic as all hell.
