Nightmare Fuel / That Mitchell and Webb Look

• "Flamingo World" is genuinely creepy when you consider the implications. It's a supposed attraction, far out in the woods, and something is wrong from the beginning. You are forbidden from viewing the flamingos. Everyone who knows what happens when passing to the other side treats it with a terrible dread and desperately tries to stop anyone from joining them. Once reaching the other side, one is quickly consumed and becomes one of the Flamingos, never to be seen again. The final line is dripping with horror - "A season ticket is £500" is what is said, but what is meant is "Give up. This is the only way you will see your father again. He is one of them now."
• Most of The Quiz Broadcast sketches in both Series 3 and 4. The test card girl at the beginning on every sketch is also worth of a mention, as she is shown wearing a gas mask writing a depressing phrase on the blackboard (including messages such as "mummy won't wake up"), whilst Bubbles the clown is shown looking miserable.
  • Became Harsher in Hindsight when the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. The UK government gave daily press briefings in which the Prime Minister and two other senior officials would stand at adjacent lecterns just like in the sketch. Adding to the weirdness, one of the slogans written on the lecterns was "STAY AT HOME" (functionally the same as the sketch's "REMAIN IN DOORS"), and Boris Johnson had similar hair to the host (played by Mitchell).
