While Pokémon Infinite Fusion has a multitude of fun and entertaining fusions, there are some combinations that will make one think twice about playing Arceus... if the surrounding world doesn't scare you first, that is.

Spoilers are unmarked. Look at your own risk.


  • Most of the fusions that you can perform tend to be creepy:
    • An example of such, is fusing Mr. Mime with either Parasect, Tentacruel, Pinsir, Glalie or Trevenant, yelding particularly unnerving fusions.
    • Using Pinsir as the head for most fusions can give some creepy results, as a large number feature mouths with more teeth than most people are comfortable with. Special mention goes to Pinsir/Charizard, which has a mouth that goes across its body lengthwise; Pinsir/Blastoise, whose shell is now entirely mouths (all with pointy teeth); Pinsir/Snorlax, whose face pokes out from a body's mouth, and Pinsir/Muk, which showcases a melting Pinsir, with red eyes and an agonized expression.
    • Generally, most of the fusions that involves Cofagrigus, Spiritomb, Shedinja, the Duskull line or Giratina as the head can unsurprisingly come off as creepy and unnerving. The Ghastly line and Shuppet line can pull it out as well, albeit not as much as the other seven Pokémon.
    • Several fusion sprites have been created by Lumpy Touch, who applies his signature highly-detailed spritework of pixelated monstrosities to each of his works. Special mention goes to Gloom/Gloom, whose flower-hat has turned into a tall mass of cancerous growths; Mawile/Tangrowth, with its one eye creepily staring beneath its mass of tentacles from which its alien-like hair-mouth emerges; and Paras/Deoxys & Parasect/Deoxys, both creating horrific extraterrestrial-fungal monstrosities that play up the Paras line's cordyceps aspect to the nth degree.
    • Fusing Ditto/Arceus together, at times, would create a silly and lighthearted fusion. However, three alternate sprites for Ditceus just straight up take a 180 from the lighthearted fusions, and just become down right unsettling... one being a statue of Arceus with pink goo leaking from it and the eyes of the statue are nothing but black and hollow, while another version the same sprite exists... but the head of the statue and tail become a black mass with a very, unsettling cartoonish eye staring at you, and the third one... just straight up becomes a 'statue' of the Archangel Gabriel as seen in the Mandela Catalogue. The second alternative sprite could even possibly relate to the third, as if the fusion resulted in an Alternate of Arceus...
  • One of the quests you can get is at Celadon City, in which one of the NPCs will request you an egg to use for their omelette. In order to complete it, you have to give said NPC a Pokémon egg, no matter if you found it in the wild, got it as a gift, or obtained it from the day-care. Imagine a person giving you an egg, wondering what will come out of it, only for you to give it to a random stranger and boil it.
    • What makes the matter even creepier is that not only you get Softboiled as a tutor move for your reward, but that Togepi and Exeggcute, which are live Pokémon, will also count toward the requirement.
  • Lavender Town manages to get creepier here:
    • To start, you won't have access to the other floors of Pokémon Tower, until you receive the Silph Scope. If you enter the second floor without it, many Haunter will slowly chase you and return you to the previous floor. And should you avoid them all, you'll meet a Gengar who will do much of the same.
    • All trainers on Pokémon Tower are possessed by ghosts, and defeating them will cure them of it.
    • Perhaps the biggest example, is that unlike the original games, you do not meet the ghost of a Marowak. Instead, you'll fight the ghost of an unknown girl, which will, if the randomizer isn't on, use a Gengar/Marowak fusion.
    • One of the areas you can go by using the debug move is named "Spooky Chamber". Inside it you'll find the ghost of a clown, and a single tomb. While the clown has some funny bits as he requests you to leave a tip, despite being dead, interacting with the tomb will reveal your name in here.
      • A thing you can do, but the game doesn't tell you (and for good reasons), is to tip the clown exactly 666 poké. Not only he will tell you that you don't know what you did, but interacting with the tomb will instead say "Pc", and warp you to a mysterious room, with a purple Pokéball. Interacting with it will cause the room to flicker, and a Darmanitan will spawn, which will teleport near you, and cause the screen to go white should you interact with it, all while a loud sound will play.
  • The Necrozma post-game quest. All of it.
    • To start off, the location of the main prism (and the other pedestals to put the other four) is at Pokémon Tower, already an unnerving place. If that isn't enough, you start the quest by interacting with a strange prism, and you're tasked to find four of them.
    • Once you complete the quest, the entire tower goes dark, forcing you to use the lantern/flash. However, you soon find out that the Ultra Metropolis music is playing, and eventually, you notice that the NPCs inside the tower left. To add extra creepyness, you'll have to fight other ghosts of unknown girls on your way of the tower.
    • Once you get out of the tower, you instantly find out that not just the tower, but Lavander Town and other places are shrouded in darkness, with most NPCs being confused and scared about what is happening, and with Sabrina telling you to come outside the west gate of Saffron City.
    • Once you get the prism outside the west gate of Saffron City, the lights starts to get consumed more, prompting Sabrina to tell you to get to the top of Celadon City's Store, to see how much the darkness is engulfing.
    • Once you arrive to Fuchsia City and put the prism into a strange container, the darkness starts engulfing the city, and Koga finds out that a strange plant popped out instantly. Following them will lead you to the Safari Zone, which is closed due to said plants, leading eventually to a glowing fruit tree where two Scolipede will attack you.
    • After you get the fruit, go back to Professor Oak to study it and head back to Mt. Moon, you eventually find the curlpit of the sudden darkness: Necrozma. And if that wasn't enough, the room you found one of the prism is suspiciously illuminated, along with a new area that leads you to a room that continuously flickers with light.
    • And to top it of all off: most quests will either have a yellow or purple color. All the quests that leads to Necrozma, on the other hand, are highlighted in red.
