• Jean Grey's death near the beginning of the first episode. She goes into a rather graphic Super-Power Meltdown on propose, to prevent herself from going full Dark Phoenix.
  • The same thing happens to Takeo in the final episode.
• Episode 10, Koichi and Riko's rather horrific murder at the hands of the Inner Circle member Neuron.
• The moment when Emma tries to psychically talk Takeo down during his rampage. It causes her actual physical pain.
