Nightmare Fuel / Jonathan Joestar, The First JoJo

• Jonathan's Nightmare Sequence at the beginning of chapter 3, in which Dio punches a hole through his torso:
  Jonathan fell forward, face flat against the suprisingly cold floor. He coughed violently, blood flying out of his mouth. The blood kept pouring out his chest, his cheek felt sticky as it spread, a puddle was forming under him.

  "I will end you, JoJo. I will end you and your cursed family."
  • To make things worse, this sequence ends up happening for real when Jonathan takes a fatal blow to protect Jotaro from Heaven Ascension Dio:
  Jotaro: JONATHAN!

• Jonathan snapping and becoming incredibly enraged after being told of Dio stealing his body and hurting countless people, including his descendants with it:
  Joseph then risked looking at Jonathan. Oh no.

  Jonathan, although he was still sitting, had a look on his face that could only be described as sheer fury. His brows were scrunched up impossibly, his teeth were grit with such force Joseph feared they would break, and his fists were curled so tightly that it surely would've drawn blood had it not been for the leather glove.

  "Dio did WHAT?!"

  At this, he abruptly shot up, hands coming to slam on the table, causing the glass still containing soda to spill. Contrary to Jonathan's previous interactions and voice, the ones full of politeness, attentiveness, nervousness or happiness, this one was a pure scream, raw against his throat and booming with force, like that of a beast.
