"What are you waiting for? Call my number, knock on my door…."

Zia Denise Marie Padilla Quizon, (born September 23, 1991) known simply as Zia Quizon, is a Filipino singer-songwriter and recording artist. She began her career after being signed to PolyEast Records and releasing her self-titled debut album in 2011.

She is the daughter of two iconic superstars of the past century, Zsa Zsa Padilla (of Philippine showbiz's massive Padilla clan) and the late Dolphy.

Tropes that apply to Zia Quizon or her music include:

  • Anti-Love Song: "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?" The song encourages the listener to just suck it up and move on from unrequited love.
Oh no, there's more to life than love!
  • Bilingual Bonus: She speaks and sings in fluent Tagalog and English.
  • Destructive Romance: One of the most direct readings of "Dear Lonely" is that it's about an abusive relationship.
I can't make you go away, so I'll just beg you, "Please don't stay"
  • Family Business: The Padilla clan is big in more ways than one (enormous in number, and they've also churned out some of Philippine showbiz's greatest stars). Zia belongs to it. She's related to Daniel Padilla, the most famous male star the Philippines has produced in the 2010s.
  • Melismatic Vocals: Averted. Her mother Zsa Zsa, who became known as "The Divine Diva" in her glory days, is associated with these. Zia, however, has been praised for her more "chill," indie sound.
  • Oblivious to Love: The guy in "Ako Na Lang."
  • Weight Woe: Hurtful, hateful comments about her boyfriend Robin Nievera's appearance drove her to publicly disclose that she suffers from Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
